Welcome to our new Gallery containing a selection of our wild
flower photographs. We are now adding European Orchids, indexed separately for the
convenience of those especially interested in that Family; the nomenclature
adopted conforms with the Kew Checklist as at January 2008. Our orchid
identification may be suspect in a number of instances therefore; comments,
corrections and suggestions will be appreciated. We have now included nine slide shows, five containing images from our current lectures, and four illustrating European
Orchids. The slides, predominantly Kodak, were scanned at 300 dpi, saved
in a Tif format for the library, and then converted into JPEG for
the website. Additions will be made
to the Gallery as slides are scanned for incorporation into the library; this project will take some time to complete Last Updated July 2008
